A master of digital tools, Jeremiah Chechik achieves a syncopated relationship between historic photographic methods and modern printing techniques on metal. Utilizing multiple generative programs and tools to evoke our collective sense of cosmic wonder, he presents views of and from other strange worlds. Chechik constantly compares and contrasts the way we used to see and the way we see now, underscoring the cognitive frameworks embedded within the visual conventions of different eras and our own collective memory.
